Early Life:
 
Born on May 16, 1969, David Borenaz shares his roots with Italy and Czechoslovakia. The childhood phase of his life was spent in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He belongs to family of seasoned professionals. His mother, Patti Boreanaz works on behalf of a renowned travel agency.  On the other hand, his father Dave Roberts is working as a weatherman for one of the channels owned by ABC network. He belongs to Roman Catholic community.
 
Boreanaz was enrolled as a student of Malvern Preparatory School, an educational institution situated in Malvern Pennsylvania. After completing his high school studies, the actor pursued his graduation from Ithaca College located in Ithaca, New York. Afterwards, the path was absolutely clear for him to move to Hollywood, California to try out his luck in acting, which he did as well.
 
Career:
 
The fortune befriended the actor when he snapped a brief role in the widely popular situational comedy, “Married … with Children.” Those who have watched this drama would remember that the actor was present in the capacity of Kelly’s love interest and this guy had a great passion for bikes. This was followed by 1997’s supernatural series, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” It was his wife Ingrid Quinn who motivated Boreanaz to audition for the drama. The actor acted upon her request and fortunately got selected as well. No wonder many say that behind every successful man there is a woman.
 
He played the character of a unique vampire who had a soul just like ordinary humans. Boreanaz’s act became extremely popular with the audiences; as a result he was re-cast in its spin off series as well. The new show was entitled as “Angel” and it focused on vampire’s struggle for redemption. His stint in the parent series, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” lasted between years 1997 and 1999. Immediately after its conclusion, “Angel” was produced, which ended in year 2004.
 
Boreanaz was part of the main leads in 2001’s slasher movie entitled as, “Valentine.” He had the privilege to act alongside dashing Denise Richards and pretty Katherine Heigl. In 2003, the actor featured in a music video for singer-songwriter Dido’s “While Flag.” He did his bit for gaming addicts as well when he lent his voice for one of the characters in a video game “Kingdom Hearts.” However, he turned down the offer to do the same for its sequel product.
 
In 2005, the actor began his acting stint in hit drama “Bones”, in which he starred alongside gorgeous Emily Deschanel. His film career includes a Canadian production entitled, “These Girls.” It was screened across numerous film festivals inclusive of Toronto Film Festival. However in Canada, it was released for a selected audiences only.
His independent film projects include “Suffering Man’ Charity” and “Mr. Fix It.”  He was a part of a direct to DVD movie titled as, “The Crow: Wicked Prayer.” Another direct to video act of his came in an animated movie “Justice League: The New Frontier” a product of world renowned DC Comics. In the before said animation he lent his voice for Hal Jordan’s character. Immediately after the conclusion of Bones season three, Boreanaz undertook the responsibly to producing the series. He has tried his luck in directing as well. Few would know that he directed an episode of Bones titled as, “Bones that Foam” which was sixteenth episode of its season four. 
 
Personal life:
 
At present the actor is residing in Los Angeles, California. The actor has married twice, first with Ingrid Quinn and then with Jaime Bergman. With Quinn he tied the knot in June 7, 1997 and their relationship ended on October 1999. At present the actor is relishing a great relationship with actress Jaime Bergman whom he married on November 24, 2001. Together they have a son and a daughter. He is an ardent follower of Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Steelers. 
 
Role in Bones:
 
Boreanaz portrays the character of Agent Seeley Joseph Booth. A forensic anthropologist named as Dr. Temperance Brennan assists him in tracing the victim’s identity from their rotten remains. Booth is a total novice when it comes to science; hence his investigations are incomplete without Brennan’s assistance, who is master of the trade. He operates according to his intuition rather than set laws and theories. Booth has a great ability to read people’s mind well in advance. Brennan’s scientific knowledge and Booth’s instinctive powers make them an unbeatable investigative team. Bones is a treat to watch because of such well crafted characters and smooth flowing storyline.
