Emily Deschanel’s experience of working in Bones
In a recent interview, Bones actress Emily Deschanel shared her personal experience of working in the show. It was one of those rare occasions when Emily was vocal without any reservations whatsoever.
The first question that was fired on her was regarding her character in Bones which deals human remains and their analysis. She was asked about the most frightening episode of the series so far. For this she replied, ““There was an episode recently about this bride who was totally crushed. It was pretty disgusting. That’s the recent one that comes to mind that’s kind of horribly disgusting. Because it’s just this smashed face. She’s run over and smashed flat. A car ran over her and then crushed her head. That’s horrible.”
Hmmmm. It seems like the experience frightened the day lights out of her system. But Emily had no way out. Being an acting professional she must accept whatever that comes her way.
Next she was asked about her comfort levels while doing steamy sequences with her co-star David Boreanaz. On this she replied that if you know somebody on a personal level and that too for as long as four years it does get a bit weird. This is what she expressed,” I’m not uncomfortable physically with him except for the kissing. You know, I trust him very much, and I feel comfortable with him. We know each other very well … it’s kind of a combination of two extremes — being very comfortable with somebody but having to do something that’s uncomfortable with them.”
Afterwards, she was praised for possessing a soulful voice. Emily was asked that whether she contemplates to try her luck in singing in her near future. On this Emily replied that if she has got some talent other than acting it does not imply that she will venture into that field as well. However, those wanting to see her in a different avatar can keep their hopes alive as she is not denying this totally.
